Chipolo Find My Device tracker could take a while to ship

Google finally launched its much-awaited Android Find My Device network in select regions earlier this month. Soon after the launch, various hardware manufacturers announced that they would launch their Find My Device network-supported tracker accessories. Chipolo was among the first of these brands, which announced its Android Find My Device tracker accessories back in 2023.

Chipolo had announced earlier to start shipping its tracker in May. However, if you are eagerly waiting to get your hands on these trackers, then you probably have to wait a while.

Chipolo tracker will start shipping on May 27

Chipolo already confirmed that it will start shipping its Find My Device network-supported trackers from May 27. Chipolo’s support page mentions that the “first batch” of its trackers will ship over the course of two weeks from the first shipping date. The first batch of devices is only for those who pre-ordered them before July 27, 2023. Since the shipping will run over the course of two weeks, most will probably get their product at some point in June.

The second batch of these trackers is for anyone who has ordered since July 27, 2023. These also include the orders placed following Google’s announcement earlier this month. The company says that it will start shipping these orders on June 10, but over the course of four weeks. So, those who pre-ordered their product during this period will probably not get them until late June or early July.

Pebblebee’s first Find My Device trackers may also be delayed

Pebblebee is also one of the first brands to launch its Find My Device-supported trackers. Its product pages for the trackers also mention that it will start shipping on May 27. These will ship “in the order in which they were placed”. So in all likelihood, the shipping timeline of Pebblebee trackers could be similar to Chipolo. That said, while we are approaching the shipping dates, you might have to wait a bit longer than you thought. There should be more clarification from these brands in the coming weeks.
