Check out these espresso martini drinks at Brockton area restaurants – Enterprise News

BROCKTON – If you’re a coffee lover who enjoys alcohol, then a chilled espresso martini should be the newest drink on your do list!

On this week’s installment of Brockton Eats with Alisha, we’re visiting four places in the area with creamy caffeinated martinis that will give you a taste of a liquid dessert.

These weekly lists of tidbits and food finds are not restaurant reviews but go beyond a bare-bones round-up. Staff writer Alisha Saint-Ciel gives tips and takes to help Brockton-area foodies find those mouth-watering hidden gems, old favorites, and exciting new offerings.

One thing about me is that I love finishing off a savory meal with something sweet. Sometimes, I’d prefer to save the 800-calorie dessert for a sweet cocktail that makes me forget about cake and gooey sweets.

If you’re looking for an uncomplicated night out where you can be wined and dined, these are a few places to try.

Barrels & Boards – 1285 Broadway, Raynham

The ambiance alone will draw you in from the extensive bar with over a dozen guests, the high ceilings, and the warm decor that reminds you of home. Let’s not forget the American cuisine with a unique twist on flavor. The restaurant offers a classic espresso martini or what I call the espresso martini’s cousin, the chocolate peanut butter martini, which is made with Screwball Peanut Butter Whiskey, chocolate drizzle liqueur, and crushed peanut butter on the rim.

Brockton Cafe Bar & Grill – 426 Main St., Brockton

Brockton Café offers a diverse range of flavored cocktails, and one of my favorite drinks there is the espresso martini. It has a little bit of creaminess and robust flavors of fresh espresso. You can enjoy cocktails with a freshly cooled crème bruelle topped with fruit.

Yaz’s Table – 1209 Bedford St., Abington

Yaz’s Table is a one-of-a-kind restaurant with an Egyptian flare and cocktails made to order. One of the best parts of Yaz’s Table is the fried donut holes, which change flavors weekly. Yaz’s Table signature drink is the Expresso Bomb Martini made with vanilla vodka, Bailey’s Kahlua, chocolate liqueur and expresso bomb. Another thing to note is the other creamy drink, including “The Lost Penguin,” with vanilla vodka, chocolate liqueur, peppermint, baileys, and crushed Oreos. Another caffeine-based drink to try is a spiked ice pistachio latte with baklava dust rim, organic pistachio,

Giana Restaurant – 3 Roosevelt Circle, South Easton

Sit by the white marble bar and enjoy a classic espresso martini the “Giana” way: homemade espresso poured into a chilled martini glass. The restaurant offers a low-key Miami vibe, with bright lights, fish swimming in the background, and friendly faces working at the bar. While you’re there, enjoy one of their wonderful desserts, from chocolate cake to ricotta cheesecake to blueberry brown sugar cake.
