Shedfest is a day-long car festival that celebrates odd and unique motors loved by car fans and “all things s*** in motoring”, Mike said.

But a handful of attendees complained that this year’s event had parking woes that saw people waiting hours.

People posted online describing long queues and people turning around and leaving before even getting inside the festival.

Some even took their anger out on the celebs who were due to speak at the event, including YouTuber Auto Alex and Mike Brewer.

Brewer posted on X, formerly Twitter denying that he had anything to do with organising the day.

He said: “It’s not even my event! I just went as a guest. I managed to [get] in perfectly well.

“These idiots need to find something else to put their anger towards.”

Brewer posted that tweet after one frustrated punter told the TV star to “lawyer up” over the traffic chaos describing it as a “shambolic scam”.

He also told the frustrated attendee to “put the crack pipe down and go and be kind to someone … it will make you better.”

Video posted to Instagram showed Mike hanging out with fans at the festival, he said 2000 people were at the event.

But many more were left fuming after not being able to get in due to parking issues.

One angry Shedfest fan said: “So far I’ve seen the arse end of a Suzuki swift for 45 mins, a*** end of a 2 series for 1 hour and also the tail end of a Kia EV thing. Going great so far.”

A second posted: “Queue situation for context. I’ve been crawling for 2 hours now and I am dying for a wee. I get it’s going to be busy but this is barmy.”

While a third wrote: “Gutted we had to turn round and head back home, queues were ridiculous was not prepared to wait any longer to potentially miss the entire show.

“Very disappointed! Who do I speak to about obtaining a refund?”

A “shed” refers to a car that isn’t the newest or nicest, but is loved for its character and stories.

Shedfest has been approached for comment.
