TikTok and SoundCloud have announced a new partnership that will allow you to save your favorite tracks directly to SoundCloud. The feature previously worked with platforms like Apple Music and Spotify. Now, TikTok users can add a song directly to their TikTok playlists on SoundCloud. They can do this by clicking on an audio track embedded in a video. Then, they select the “Add to Music App” button.
TikTok’s ‘Add to Music App’ feature expands with SoundCloud
Thanks to the new partnership between TikTok and SoundCloud, folks will now be able to save music from videos in their “For You” feed directly to SoundCloud.
All you have to do is click the name of the music below the video. Then, select the “Add to Music App” option in the upper-left corner of the window that appears. After that, you’ll see the music apps supported by the social media platform.
Thanks to the newly announced partnership, you’ll now see SoundCloud among the available options. By clicking the ‘Add’ button, the song from the video will be automatically added to your TikTok playlist. It will be saved in your preferred music app.

In the blog post announcing its partnership with SoundCloud, TikTok stated that since the global launch of the ‘Add to Music’ feature in 2024, it has generated over a billion track saves and billions more streams on music streaming services.
