Meta has updated links on Threads to help users easily reach their communities and followers. Content creators can now add up to five links to their account bios. The app’s built-in analytics tool will also track how many people visited links shared on posts and bios.
Threads’ latest link update makes it easier to reach communities and followers
Previously, Threads only allowed users to add a single link to their profile bios. Creators were able to bypass this limitation with platforms like Linktree. However, allowing up to five links directly on the profile will eliminate the need for these workarounds. It will also make accessing content such as newsletters, podcasts, articles, or merch stores easier.
Here is Meta’s statement about the latest update: ”Many people have already added links to their profiles to express themselves and their interests. Now, you can add up to five links to your bio, helping your community find your podcasts, articles, newsletters, and more, so they can learn about you and the topics you care about.”
With this new approach to links, Meta will give more prominence to posts with links on Threads in its recommendation algorithm. The company aims to support content creators’ growth on Threads. It also wants to make it easier for users to reach outside the platform by making link performance data visible.

Meta will add a weekly recap to Insights to give users a summarized snapshot
The social media platform is also working on new analytics tools to help creators better manage their audiences. Weekly performance data such as post count, total views, replies, and new followers will be compared. Meta says these Insights recaps will be available soon. Users will also receive personalized tips to engage with their community.
Meta’s description is as follows: ”We’ve added a weekly recap to Insights to give you a summarized snapshot that includes a week-over-week comparison of the number of posts you’ve shared, total views, new follower count, and replies on your posts. You’ll also start seeing personalized tips that can help inspire new ways to engage your community.”
