Forget The Kardashians – the biggest reality hit of last year on Hulu and Disney+ follows the fascinating and drama-filled world of #MomTok.
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives is based on a group of Mormon influencers from Utah, exploring how their religion impacts their lives as women and the drama behind all those perfectly crafted Instagram posts and juicy TikToks.
The show has created a huge buzz, ranging from a group of devoted fans to long, critical video essays. Fans were treated to a second season in May 2025, and they’ll be glad to hear that the show isn’t over yet.

Will The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives return for season 3?
The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives will return for ten more episodes. We know this because Deadline reported in 2024 that the show was renewed for twenty episodes in total.
Ten of those aired in season 2, which means that ten remain. However, it’s unclear whether these ten episodes will make up a second half of season 2, or if they’ll be saved for a third season. We have contacted Disney for comment.
Season 2 ended on a ‘To be continued’ note, and there was a brief teaser at the end of the final episode, with Jessi saying, “She knows this is ruining my family, my life. This is Demi’s doing”. More on that drama below.
You’ll be able to watch the new episodes on Hulu in the US and Disney+ in the UK.
When will the new episodes of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives be released?
No official announcement has been made by Disney+ and Hulu yet, but we can make a guess based on the gap between seasons 1 and 2.
There were eight months between these two instalments. So, that would indicate a January 2026 release. However, Cosmopolitan points out that this wait was before the show got the green light for renewal, so the wait could be even shorter.
It could follow a similar release schedule to Hulu’s The Kardashians, which could indicate a fall 2025 release. This is all speculation at this point – once we know more about season 3/season 2 part 2 of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, we’ll update this article.
Who will return for The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives?
While Hulu hasn’t confirmed who is returning in the remaining ten episodes of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives, we’d expect to see the following faces:
- Taylor Frankie Paul
- Mayci Neeley
- Mikayla Matthews
- Layla Taylor
- Demi Engemann
- Jessi Ngatikaura
- Whitney Leavitt
- Miranda McWhorter
During season 2, Jen Affleck took a step back from filming for her own mental health after discovering she was pregnant and having relationship difficulties with her husband, Zac.
She’s since given an interview for Women’s Health and confirmed that their relationship is back on track, so there’s a chance that Jen may also return to the show going forward.

What will happen in the new episodes of The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives?
After lots of speculation about Marciano Brunette from Vanderpump Villa getting romantic with Demi, he stated to Layla that he’d actually been in an affair with Jessi Ngatikaura.
Demi had already become unpopular with the group after trying to exile Taylor from the group, leading to her walking out on MomTok.
She has since stated that she was groped at the villa, and that her friends discussing the events on camera was what led to the feud.
So, whether the accusation of Jessi and Marciano having an affair is true or not will certainly take centre stage in the next few episodes, as will the drama between Demi and the rest of the group.
Outside of that, executive producer Jeff Jenkins discussed with The Hollywood Reporter how he’d like faith to be discussed more in the show with the following quote:
“I would love for a member of the church — who works within the church, whether that’s a bishop or whoever’s in charge — to come shoot with us and share their perspective on all of this, whatever that perspective is. I would love that, I encourage it. It’s been very challenging to find that voice for that side”
