AKRON, Ohio – The 67th Father’s Day car show at Stan Hywet Hall & Gardens is coming up.
This year’ show – Sunday, June 15 – celebrates the 70th year of the Ford Thunderbird.
Billed as one oldest automobile shows in America, it’s presented in collaboration with the Ohio Region Classic Car Club of America. It includes 400 classic, antique and collector cars as well as motorcycles manufactured from 1915 to 2000. The vehicles will be displayed on the Great Meadow.
Show admission includes a self-guided tour of the Manor House, gardens and Corbin Conservatory. Food vendors will be available including Winking Lizard, Gio’s Pizza Lab, Molly’s Courtyard Café and Kona-Ice.
Stan Hywet is the former home of Goodyear Tire & Rubber Co. co-founder F.A. Seiberling and his family. The non-profit historic house-museum is open April to December. Stan Hywet is the largest historic home in Ohio.
