Sony Xperia 1 VI appears again, this time in 17 promo images

The Sony Xperia 1 VI has been leaking like crazy lately. We’ve exclusively shared both the Xperia 1 VI and Xperia 10 VI designs across 70 images. Before that, we’ve also exclusively shown you CAD-based renders of Sony’s upcoming flagship. Now, Evan Blass, a well-known tipster, has shared 17 promo images of the upcoming Sony Xperia 1 VI.

The Sony Xperia 1 VI leaked in 17 promo images this time around

If you take a look at the gallery below the article, you’ll see all those images. Some lifestyle shots are thrown into the mix, along with general promo images of the phone, and some of its features.

These images not only give us a great look at the design of the phone, but they also confirm some other details. For example, a 5,000mAh battery will be included inside the phone. ZEISS T* coating will be included too, and will fight reflection when you’re taking photos and videos.

These images also confirm that a 3.5mm headphone jack will be included, along with proper audio support. Hi-Res audio and Hi-Res audio wireless will be on offer, while the phone will have LDAC support too.

The phone will support both wireless charging and reverse wireless charging

Something else that’s confirmed here is wireless charging. The Xperia 1 VI will not only support wireless charging, but it will also ship with reverse wireless charging support.

The phone itself will resemble its predecessor, but it won’t be as narrow. Sony is going for a more standard display aspect ratio this time around. It is keeping the same design language, though.

The top and bottom bezels will be a bit thicker so that a display camera hole is avoided altogether. The device is coming soon, probably at some point this month. It will be fueled by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, and have a very powerful camera setup on the back. The Sony Xperia 10 VI is expected to launch alongside the company’s Android flagship.
