One of the most beloved Apple TV+ series is coming back soon: Slow Horses just got its season 5 release date.
Slow Horses returns this September for season 5
Apple TV+ has announced the return date for its espionage drama full of dark humor.
Slow Horses season 5 will be released on Wednesday, September 24.
Its first two episodes will be available at first, followed by weekly releases through October 22.
Like previous seasons, there will only be six episodes total in season 5. Fortunately, Apple has already renewed the show for season 6. That means there is plenty more of Jackson Lamb and crew on the way.

In season five of “Slow Horses,” everyone is suspicious when resident tech nerd Roddy Ho has a glamorous new girlfriend. When a series of increasingly bizarre events occur across the city, it falls to the Slow Horses to work out how everything is connected. After all, Lamb knows that in the world of espionage, the London Rules — cover your back — always apply.
The new season arrives almost exactly one year after season 4, which also debuted in September. Slow Horses is one of the rare Apple TV+ shows that’s had a pretty consistent release schedule.
It helps that seasons are a tight six episodes and renewed far in advance. Plus, the book series existing as source material means scripts can develop faster.
If you haven’t yet watched Slow Horses, it’s widely regarded as one of the best shows Apple TV+ has to offer. The first four seasons can be binged pretty quickly, too—and likely will be once you get started.
Apple TV+ is available for $9.99 per month and features hit TV shows and movies like Ted Lasso, Severance, The Morning Show, Silo, and Shrinking.
