Mladá Boleslav, 5 May 2025 – Škoda Auto presents the Elroq Respectline, a concept with distinctive exterior and interior design that was created to highlight Škoda’s core values such as mutual respect, diversity and inclusion. Making its premiere during European Diversity Month, the car also aims to draw attention to the importance of protecting human rights and equitable and fair treatment of everyone. The main motif in the form of a stylised “háček” sign found in the Czech letter “Š” is a tribute to the origins and rich historical heritage of Škoda Auto, which is commemorating its 130th anniversary this year. The Škoda Elroq Respectline was created collaboratively by Škoda Auto employees from across the company. It will celebrate its first public appearance at the Best Cars 2025 awards event by German auto motor und sport magazine in Hamburg, on 9 May, followed by its presence at a company music festival in Mladá Boleslav on 10 May. With the Elroq Respectline, Škoda is also celebrating the huge success of more than 55,000 Elroq orders through the end of April.
“Diversity, equity, inclusion, and mutual understanding are cornerstones of Škoda’s corporate culture. With the new Elroq Respectline, we are introducing a Škoda brand ambassador that embodies these values. Our goal at Škoda Auto is to be a role model in caring for our employees and fostering a safe, open, and fair workplace for all. For many years, we have been building our corporate culture on these principles – in close cooperation with our social partner KOVO Union, Škoda Auto employee groups, and many inspiring organizations and experts. We are proud of our commitment to promoting human rights and mutual respect, and we believe the Elroq Respectline will help us carry these values even further.”

Škoda Elroq Respectline: a tribute to diversity and historical heritage
The exterior design of the Elroq Respectline is characterised by its striking colour scheme and the “háček” as the main visual motif. The emblem, taken from the new Škoda logo, accompanies the exterior and interior design in a playful way as an imaginative reminder of the Czech letter “Š”. The car manufacturer is proud of its Czech origins and the “háček” is a reminder of its legacy dating back to 1895.
The Tech-Deck grille of the Elroq Respectline is equipped with an animated LED rainbow lighting. The rainbow is generally recognized as a symbol of the LGBT+ community and a reminder of society’s diversity and the importance of each individual. The powerfully designed rainbow exterior and the bold, colourful interior design highlight the strength of diversity and the positive energy that different perspectives and personalities can create when united in mutual respect. The interior of this electric vehicle emphasizes individuality while also underscoring a strong commitment to sustainability.
Using recycled materials from the Elroq model, combined with progressive rainbow embroidery on the seats, distinctive embossing details, and cheerful, colorful décor elements, the Respectline is a wonderful example of how joyful diversity can be. Exceptional craftsmanship, confident design, and a deep-rooted guiding principle invite viewers to be swept away by the many colours of diversity.
Public premieres this week, followed by Prague Pride and Tour de France later this year
The new Elroq Respectline follows on from the Enyaq Respectline, which has appeared in a number of places in the past to promote Škoda’s core values such as mutual respect, diversity and inclusion. The Elroq Respectline will celebrate its public premiere at two events at the end of the week: first on Friday 9 May at the Best Cars 2025 awards by auto motor und sport magazine in Hamburg, Germany, followed by its presence at a company music festival in Mladá Boleslav on 10 May. The Škoda Elroq Respectline will also be exhibited throughout the summer, for example, at the Metronome Prague music festival, at the Prague Pride festival, at the Open Air concert of the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and during the Tour de France.
Škoda Auto x Botas Respectline Edition
Škoda Auto and Czech shoemaker Botas joined forces merging the heritage of both manufacturers through iconic sneakers that reflect Škoda’s Modern Solid design language and the Elroq Respectline. The sneaker incorporates rainbow embroidery on the sides of the shoes, which is also included in the interior of the new Respectline model. This collaboration amplifies the company’s stance on inclusion and diversity, with the shoes set to be sold at the Botas e-shop in the upcoming weeks.
