Samsung's Odyssey OLED G9 gaming monitor is down to $1,100

Amazon currently has a great deal on Samsung’s Odyssey OLED G9 gaming monitor. The regular full retail price of this monitor is $1,600. However, if you pick it up during Amazon’s sale then you only end up having to pay $1,100. That’s a savings of $500 and honestly, very worth it for this gaming monitor.

Let’s start with the most obvious reason why this monitor is good for your gaming setup. It has an ultrawide 49-inch screen. So you have a ton of space to see everything in your games. There’s nothing quite like playing games with an ultrawide view this large. And because of the monitor’s 1000R curve, games feel a lot more immersive and that really amps up the experience. This is also an OLED panel so you get super deep blacks and very bright, vivid colors. So games will look pretty amazing.

Additionally, the Odyssey OLED G9 has a 240Hz refresh rate. This won’t matter for every game but it will make a huge difference in games that are competitive. Such as online multiplayer shooters and fighting games. As these require you to have quick reaction times, and the refresh rate can play a big role in that. My personal favorite feature, however, is the picture-by-picture mode. You’d use this when you have two pieces of hardware plugged into the monitor, such as a console and a PC. This feature will split the screen in half with each half being for a separate input. What’s more, is that they will have their native resolution.

This is really awesome if you want to have your PC up on one screen to watch stuff while you play on your console. Or you can have two consoles or two PCs hooked up and split the screen in two for you and a friend. It’s great. This is a limited-time deal, so act fast.
