The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra doesn’t deviate too far from Samsung’s usual formula, so if you’re looking for a different experience from its usual Ultras, you won’t quite get it here. However, if you want a phone that is well-balanced in every domain, then that’s something that it probably will do pretty well.
The biggest issue with Samsung’s S Ultra smartphones is that they’re painfully expensive. However, if you can get one on sale and you’re interested enough, you should. This is one of those times, as the Galaxy S25 Ultra is on sale on Amazon right now, for a limited time. Its price has never been as low as this either, so this is the time to strike, and strike quick.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Is About 20% off, for the Most Savings Yet

The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra will set you back by $1,299 on a regular day, if you’re going for the 256GB model of the phone. For most people, that’s a lot of money to spend on a smartphone. Sure, it is Samsung, and Android devices from Samsung generally do everything right (even if they don’t stick with current industry trends as tightly as other OEMS do).
In fact, they do well enough each year that they almost always seem to take home an award from MKBHD:
- 2024 Smartphone Awards – Best Big Smartphone, Phone of the Year: S24 Ultra
- 2023 Smartphone Awards – Best Big Smartphone: S23 Ultra
- 2022 Smartphone Awards – Best Big Smartphone: S22 Ultra
- 2021 Smartphone Awards – Best Design, Most Improved, Phone of the Year: S21 Ultra
The good thing is, if the Galaxy S25 Ultra is the kind of smartphone that you’re interested in, then you’re going to be a fan of the current deal that’s running for it over on Amazon. However, keep in mind, this is a limited time deal, so as you read about it, remember that you might have to move fast to take advantage of it.

The Galaxy S25 Ultra (256GB) is currently enjoying a 19% price slash, bringing its usual $1,299.99 price down to $1,054.99. That’s about $255 off, and that’s far from an insubstantial amount. The 512GB version is also being discounted by 16%, going from $1,419.99 to $1,187.99.
The Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra Is a Solid Device Despite Little Improvement Over Last Year

I’m not an S25 Ultra superfan. My biggest gripe with the device is that it changes very little when compared to last year’s S24 Ultra, especially in categories that customers have long anticipated changes in. However, despite that, on its own, it is still a very solid smartphone.

The S25 Ultra improves in some aspects, stays the same in some others, and even gets worse in terms of the S Pen. However, if the S24 Ultra didn’t exist, it’d be impossible to call the S25 Ultra a bad device. It gets thinner, lighter, and more durable, and narrows the bezels for a bigger display and a more modern look. Plus, with One UI 7, it gets the latest software and AI features from Samsung, and that’s where it’s really at in 2025.
