President signs law on green plates for electric cars, benefits for their owners
AKIPRESS.COM – President Sadyr Japarov signed the amendments to the Laws on Environmental Protection, Road Traffic, the president’s press service reported.
The amendments were passed by the Parliament of Kyrgyzstan on March 14.
The adopted law provides benefits for the use of wheeled vehicles with electric motors, creation of charging infrastructure for electric vehicles.
The given law also introduces the issuance of special green state registration plates for electric vehicles during state registration.
