The Google Pixel 8a has been leaking left and right for a while now. We’ve exclusively shared the Pixel 8a renders, and its case renders as well. The phone’s case was shown in four different colors. Well, it turns out that the Pixel 8a case will be on offer in yet another case color.
A new Pixel 8a case color appears, the ‘Coral’ one
This new leak comes from Arsene Lupin via X. He shared a bunch of renders of the device and their cases. Renders with phones inside cases have also been shared. You can check out all of those images in the galleries below the article. We’ve shared some of them, but not all.
What got our attention the most, however, is the Coral case color. In addition to Bay (Blue), Mint (Green), Obsidian (Black), and Porcelain (Beige) colors, the Coral color will also be on offer. You can check out the gallery below this paragraph to check out that case.
A Coral Pixel 8a could arrive later this year
This is a color that Pixel users are familiar with. The Pixel 7a came in a Coral color. The thing is, the Coral Pixel 8a did not appear, only the case. That could indicate that the Coral model will arrive later on, we’ll see.
Speaking of which, the Pixel 8a is expected to arrive during the Google I/O 2024 next month. The Pixel 7a arrived last year during Google’s developer’s conference, so it’s safe to assume that its successor will do the same this year.
This handset will resemble the Pixel 7a
The Pixel 8a will resemble the Pixel 7a quite a bit, actually. Google is sticking with the camera visor design on the back. Two cameras will sit back there, while the phone will include a flat display. A centered display camera hole will be included.
The phone will be fueled by the Google Tensor G3 processor, and it’s rumored to include a 120Hz display this time around. That will be an upgrade over a 90Hz display on the Pixel 7a.
