Amazon is now offering one of its best prices of the year on the Apple’s Find My-equipped Ember Travel Mug 2+ at $147.99 shipped. This is a regularly $200 premium and intelligent, temperature-controlled travel mug that is now over 25% off for the lowest price we can find. This one doesn’t often drop below $160 when on sale – only a couple times this year so far, and not for very long.
While we did see this model fall to $145 and then quickly drop to $139 before going out of stock and jumping back up to the full list back in mid March, today’s deal is otherwise the lowest price we have tracked on Amazon this year.
Before you even consider the intelligent tech involved here, the Ember Travel Mug 2+ is really just a solid 12-ounce tumbler with a stainless steel construction and a leakproof, push-to-open lid that delivers what Ember refers to as 360-degree drinking – “makes it convenient to sip from any side, and it is engineered for easy cleaning.”
But we certainly aren’t recommending anyone spend on $148 on just that. Once connected to the free companion app, your can set a desired temperature between 120- and 145-degrees to keep your beverage at the ideal temperature for up to 3 hours at a time wirelessly. And with the included charging coaster, you can maintain these settings all day long – “pair this temperature control mug with the Ember app to set the temperature, customize presets and more, or use the new touch display on this travel coffee mug to set your temperature without a smartphone.”
It of course also includes Apple Find My tech build-in – you might never misplace your tumbler again (for very long anyway). It connects with the Find My app for the usual third-party Apple tracking action so you can “locate your Ember Travel Mug 2+ on a map using the Find My app on your iPhone, iPad, or Mac, or Find Items app on your Apple Watch.”
