Motorola Razr 50 Ultra remains mysterious, even with price leak
The Motorola Razr 50 Ultra will cost way more than the Razr 40 Ultra but will offer better value. The predecessor’s current €899 price tag is for the 8GB variant with 256GB storage space. This time around, you’ll be paying about €393 extra for 12GB RAM and 512GB storage, among other things yet to be revealed.
There may be models with fewer memory options. It’s also possible that regional factors, such as taxes and import costs have a hand in the price variations globally. But it’s hard to tell which retailer has featured the phone. DealNTech only shares a screenshot of the phone’s name, price, and status that says “In arrivo”, which is Italian for “arriving”. But the Razr 50 Ultra is rumored to appear with the name Motorola Razr+ in certain regions.
It’s expected that companies normally rename products to resonate better with consumers in a specific region. The upcoming phone will also sport three colors; Blue, Green, and Peach Fuzz.
When will the Motorola Razr 50 Ultra come out?
Besides the price, there’s still no information on the phone’s specifications and release date. But many experts, including us, have their money in June. After all, the Razr 40 Ultra came out in June too.
The phone has already been featured on Russia’s EEC certification website with the model number XT2453-1 and the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website. The leaked images on 91Mobiles suggest that the Razer 50 Ultra has tweaked the side lock button and hinges on the Razr 50 Ultra.
The button appears slightly recessed into the device’s surface, rather than protruding outward. This design hints at a side fingerprint scanner or just a sleek design preference. Many smartphones these days integrate fingerprint scanners into the power button or another side button. Compressing the button makes it feel like a more natural resting spot for your thumb.
June is just around the corner
