Lenovo-owned Motorola is all set to launch its new Edge-series smartphone in India. The smartphone maker has started teasing the launch of Motorola Edge 50 Fusion smartphone in the country.

Motorola took to X (formerly known as Twitter) about the launch of the upcoming Motorola smartphone. The company posted a short video with a caption which reads, “step into the spotlight with our latest innovation. Get ready to shine like never before. #UnveilingSoon.” The teaser posted by company mentions that the smartphone will feature the best camera and design in the price segment.



It is expected that Motorola will launch the Edge 50 Fusion smartphone in the country. The company recently launched the same smartphone globally and it is expected to bring the same variant in India.

Motorola Edge 50 Fusion specificationsMotorola Edge 50 sports a 6.7-inch FHD+ OLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display offers 144Hz refresh rate and up to 1600 nits of peak brightness level. The screen is also protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

The mid-range Motorola smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 chipset paired with 12GB of RAM. The smartphone comes in two storage options — 256GB and 512GB.

Motorola Edge 50 Fusion runs Android 14 operating system and sports a 50MP main camera with f/1.88 aperture and 13MP ultra wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture. Front is home to a 32MP selfie camera with f/2.45 aperture.

Motorola Edge 50 Fusion comes with stereo speakers and the IP68 rating makes it resistant to dust and water. The smartphone is backed by a 5000 mAh battery with 68W fast charging support.
