A dozen of Samsung smartphones are now getting Android 15-based One UI 7 update in the US. That includes the Galaxy S21, S21+, S21 Ultra, S22, S22+, S22 Ultra, Fold 3, Flip 3, Fold 4, and Flip 4.

All of these devices have started getting the update in Korea not long ago, and since then it has spread to other markets. That now includes the US too. The update is rolling out in stages for all of these devices. So, you’ll need to be patient, as it may take a while for it to reach your phone.
Also, keep in mind that the update is quite large. In terms of the Galaxy S21 series, leading carriers in the country have kicked off the rollout. For the Galaxy S22 series, the rollout starts at T-Mobile, Xfinity Mobile,a nd Compact. Others will follow soon.
The Galaxy Z Fold 4 and Flip 4 are now getting the update over at T-Mobile, Verizon, AT&T, US Cellular, Dish, Cricket, MetroPCS, and others. Something similar goes for the Galaxy Z Fold 3 and Flip 3, actually.

The update itself is quite large, around 5GB, though it may vary from one device to the next. That is to be expected as this update brings a major new version of Android to the devices, plus all the features that Samsung issued for One UI 7.
This update does include the April 2025 security patch as well, in case you were wondering. One UI 7 is actually the biggest refresh to One UI design in years, you’ll see various new design elements. The same goes for Samsung’s first-party apps.
New AI features have been thrown into the mix via Galaxy AI, while the Now Bar is now a part of the picture as well. We’re only scratching the surface here, you’ll find out more when you install the update.
