Luella Mae (Hamblin) Cassman, age 78, died on May 22, 2025, at Diamond Willow Assisted Living and Memory Care Center in Park Rapids.
Born in Park Rapids on October 16, 1946, to Opal and Claude Hamblin of Nevis. Luella graduated with her senior class in 1964 from Nevis High School. She married Burnett (Dick) Cassman on October 16, 1969 and they had two children. She worked as a assembly technician for Honeywell and Aliant Tech for over 35 years. She enjoyed her family, music, dance, word puzzles, and, above all, she loved to travel. Luella was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and many friends and relatives. She leaves behind her daughter Jeanette (Joe) Provenza; son Jim Cassman; granddaughter Hope Cassman; and many other extended relatives. A celebration of life for Luella will take place at Cease Family Funeral Home of Park Rapids on Friday, June 6 at 2:00 pm with a visitation an hour prior. Inurnment will be held privately at Ft.
