A stylus can make using your phone a little bit easier but fingers suffice in most cases. However, if you’re big on productivity and you do a lot of note-taking and the like, nothing beats that pen-type experience. The only other major place to get that as conveniently as you do with the Samsung Galaxy S24 Ultra is with the Motorola Moto G Stylus, and this year, we’re expecting the 2024 variant of the phone.

This phone is going to adopt the design language that the Edge 50 family brought along, with a back panel that gently melds into the camera bump in one piece. It’s a modern look and it looks a lot better than last year’s model did. It’ll certainly make the phone look a bit higher-end than its price bracket, whatever that might be. Below are some of the images of the phone in a beige colorway, published by Android Headlines.

The phone is going to have a vegan leather back and the slot for the stylus will be on the right side of the bottom edge of the phone. We also know from some leaked promo videos that the phone is expected to have a 6.7-inch 120Hz pOLED display and stereo speakers. It’s going to have two cameras and the primary is going to be a 50MP unit. Overall, it seems like it’ll be a solid mid-range entry, perfect for people who want a stylus but don’t want to pay S Pen money.

Some Camera Samples Have Leaked Too

Speaking of 50MP cameras, Android Headlines was also able to get their hands on some image samples shot with the Motorola Moto G Stylus that are set to be used for promo material. However, they did put a disclaimer to indicate that these images have been compressed, so it might be hard to do a lot of pixel-peeping with these.

From what I can see, the pictures have good color science. It seems accurate enough for all skin tones and is still able to bring out more vibrant colors. I can’t say much about the detail without a higher-resolution image, but from where I am standing, it seems to be good enough.

We don’t know anything about the second camera the phone is coming with (probably an ultrawide like its predecessor), the price tag, or when we can expect it to launch, but with a leak as large as this one (Android Headlines even got their hands on promo videos), it seems that its release might not be too far off.
