TL;DR

Today, Google announced a hardware event for October 6, 2022. Although the announcement (and Android Authority’s invite to said event) does not mention it, we are certain this is the Google Pixel 7 launch show.
The Google Pixel 7 is probably going to be an iterative upgrade over last year’s Google Pixel 6 and Pixel 6 Pro. Google has already shown off the devices in official imagery, which assures us the phones don’t have a dramatic redesign this year. We also know the phones will come with the second generation of Tensor, Google’s proprietary SoC.
Aside from the Pixel 7 series, we also expect the Pixel Watch to finally debut at this show. It’s possible Google could have other hardware in store for us, too, although the Pixels and the Watch are the only real givens.
