Gunshots cause damage to cars, businesses in Montgomery – WAKA

Shots that were fired near Atlanta Highway in Montgomery have caused damage to cars and businesses.

Montgomery Police Dept. Maj. Saba Coleman told Action 8 News that officers were called to the 3500 block of Eastdale Circle at about 1:44AM Sunday. That is where Planet Fitness, the Velvet Room and other businesses are located.

Coleman says five people reported damage to their vehicles and at least five businesses received damage.

She says no injuries were reported. The investigation into what brought the gunfire is continuing.
