Glenn Steven Zettervall, age 73, of Maple Grove, MN passed away April 7, 2024 to cancer. Glenn enlisted in the United States Marines from December 1967 to December 1971 and served in Vietnam. He was decorated with many awards and honors, including the Purple Heart. He sacrificed so much for our country. Glenn spent his last years on his farm near Wolf Lake, MN, and recently took up residence in Maple Grove, MN to be near his family. You were so kind to everyone. You left us too soon, but you left us with our hearts full of love and memories. I know your horse Obie is so happy to see you again. “You can do anything, Glenn. This is America.” Glenn was preceded in death by his parents, Glenn H. Zettervall and Rachel M. Zettervall; and sister Suzanne. He is survived by his children: Cynthia (David) Anderson, Debbie (Richard) Chism, Scott (Kathryn) Zettervall, and Tony Larson; grandchildren: Joel Larson, Jordan “Jordy” Larson, Alexis Buster, Zachary Zettervall, Alexander Zettervall, and Gryer Collins; siblings, James (Brenda) Zettervall, Sally (KO) Hafner, Michael Zettervall, David Zettervall, and Lisa Kunshier; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. The visitation will be from 11:00 AM-1:00 PM on Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at Morris Nilsen Chapel – 6527 Portland Ave S., in Richfield, interment, with honors, to follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery at 1:30 PM.
