Who doesn’t love a good freebie? If you don’t, then you certainly don’t want to know that Best Buy is offering a free Clicks keyboard case with every pre-order of the Motorola Razr 2025. It also comes with a backlit, ergonomic keyboard case that adds a whole new level of nostalgia and functionality to the flip phone experience. The offer is limited time, so I wouldn’t race to Best Buy’s website and leap on it if I were you.
Even last year’s Razr has a case to settle in
It was only a few days ago that Motorola launched the Razr 60 lineup, also known as the Razr 2025 series. The new phones arrived in elegant Alcantara and real wood materials, as well as vibrant color choices.
Motorola introduced Gorilla Glass Ceramic to the hardware and sent it off into the market with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. The starting price is $700 for the Razr 60 and $1,300 for the Razr 60 Ultra, with pre-orders already ongoing. The full sales launch will happen on May 15.
While we wait, Best Buy has teamed up with Motorola to offer a special promotion for the Razr 2025. Starting today, anyone who pre-orders the new Razr 2025, Razr Plus 2025, and Razr Ultra will receive a free case valued at $139 from Clicks.
Clicks’ Co-Founder, Jeff Gadway, made the announcement in a LinkedIn post and confirmed that only US residents (Canada not included) are eligible.
The case designed for the Razr Ultra only comes in the Onyx color, which is a dark and off-black shade. But those designed for the Razr Plus 2025 and Razr 2025 add an electric combination of blue and gray. There’s even a case available in both colorways for the Razr 2024 series.
Clicks is a name you don’t want to forget in the technology industry. Although they’ve only been around for 18 months, they’ve made a strong impression with their accessories. They made waves last year with the keyboard case for iPhone, and now they’re coming to Android.

The new products for Motorola’s phones promise a tactile typing experience with a physical keyboard that takes you back to the old days. That said, you have between May 7 until June 1 to grab them, or until they run out.
The keyboard cases are easy to get into once you have them. Simply slot in your phone and it automatically pairs with the case via Bluetooth. Perhaps, the backlighting on the case is the most important detail because phone screens typically handle backlighting. Well, sort of. It’d be counter-productive to trade that for a physical keyboard that’s harder to use in the dark.
The only thing to worry about is that Clicks’ cases will make your phone longer than it already is. Razr flip phones already open up tall when you unfold them. So, when you add a keyboard case to the bottom, the phone stretches even more and may feel awkward if you’re used to one-handed texting or slipping your phone into a small pocket.
