The design for the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 may have undergone some significant changes. According to a leaked CAD render, the premium foldable Android smartphone will have a flatter design, sharper edges, and sharper corners.

The Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5 has been one of the top-notch foldable Android smartphones. However, Samsung’s competitors may have raced ahead, leaving Samsung to play catch up, at least in the hardware department.
Several foldable smartphones from Samsung’s rivals offer thinner and lighter devices. They even flaunt less noticeable creases. Some even have slightly better or more compelling software.
Perhaps to break the rut and emerge as the leader in the foldable market, Samsung has reportedly made some fundamental changes to the design and appearance of the Galaxy Z Fold 6.

A couple of fan-made renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 surfaced recently. It appears these renders may have a lot of resemblance to the actual smartphone. US-based case manufacturer Thinborne has posted a CAD (Computer Aided Design) render of the upcoming foldable smartphone.
Needless to say, these new renders are quite similar to the recently released designs. Based on the consistency, it would be safe to assume that Samsung may have adopted a sharper design language for the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
These renders may not confirm the final shape and design of the upcoming Samsung foldable smartphone. However, they do suggest the Galaxy Z Fold 6 may flaunt flatter surfaces, sharper edges, and even sharper corners, especially when compared to the Galaxy Z Fold 5.
Is the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 a worthy upgrade over its predecessor?
Samsung hasn’t officially announced the Galaxy Z Fold 6. Hence, the majority of information on the foldable smartphone is based on rumors and leaks.
And so far, these reports haven’t been pointing to a radical upgrade over the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 5. Simply put, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 might not be a major upgrade over its predecessor.
Most of the rumors suggest the biggest noteworthy upgrade would be a wider cover display. However, the latest renders seem to quash these claims. There have been rumors about the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Ultra, which would be the first “Ultra” device in the Samsung foldable smartphone range.
