The HTC U24 Pro is coming, get ready! HTC is not as active in the smartphone market as before, not even close. We spotted HTC’s new smartphone HTC U24 Pro online. Although there is no detailed information about its technical specifications, we can estimate its features with the Geekbench results revealed by MySmartPrice. It is not known exactly when the U24 Pro will be launched. However, assuming the time when it unveiled the U23 Pro, we expect the U24 Pro to be launched in May. Because the U23 Pro was officially announced in May 2023.
HTC U24 Pro to include the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3, Bluetooth 5.3 & more
The HTC U24 Pro has been spotted with the model number “2QDA100”. This model number is similar to the model number of the HTC U23 Pro. The U23 Pro had the model number “2QC9100“. Although HTC used to be one of the pioneers of smartphones, the brand is now launching more mid-range products instead of premium flagship products. This changes our expectations for the HTC U24 Pro.
The smartphone appeared on Geekbench with the model number “2QDA100” and will be powered by the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chipset. With the Geekbench result, we can say that U24 Pro will be a more advanced device than U23 Pro.
Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 has an impressive performance with its 1+3+4 core structure and Cortex-A715 CPU that can reach up to 2.63GHz clock speed. On the GPU side, we see the Adreno 720. This GPU provides a good experience when playing games. HTC U23 Pro came with Snapdragon 7 Gen 1. The U24 Pro’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 should offer better performance, improved camera features, and high efficiency compared to the previous generation processor. We are therefore looking forward to the new device.
The device will have 12GB of RAM and support current technologies such as Bluetooth 5.3. It will also run Android 14 out of the box.
