Enterprise police say 16 gambling machines seized, $16,000 cash – AL.com


A joint task force operation in south Alabama on Wednesday uncovered 16 gambling machines, authorities said.

According to Enterprise police, the department, the Coffee County Sheriff’s Office, and the 12th Judicial Circuit District Attorney’s Office executed three search warrants on suspected illegal gambling facilities inside the city limits of Enterprise.

In addition to the gambling machines, authorities also seized $16,000, and computer equipment used to operate the machines.

Arrests are pending in this investigation, police said.
