The Enterprise will move towards final shutdown in the coming days, with news updates on the website ending on June 1, 2025.
What to know:
•Subscription refunds – Requests for pro rated refunds are being processed. You can request your refund by email to [email protected]. Requests received by May 30 will be processed in order. If you have made a request, please know it is being addressed in order.
•Newspaper archives – The Enterprise is donating its historical archives of newspapers going back decades to the city of Vale. We are delighted this will live on as a community asset and essential for historians.
•Office furnishings – About a dozen nonprofits in Malheur County have requested to be considered for a gift of office equipment and supplies. Nonprofits are being provided access in order of their request in the coming days.
•Office building – The headquarters building of the Enterprise will go up for sale soon. The 3,000-square-foot building holds a prime location in Vale. The building will first be offered to those who asked to be considered as buyers. If you or your business want to be put on a list of those interested in the event those buyers don’t acquire the property, send an email to [email protected].
•Website – The Enterprise digital archive will remain online for the coming year. Access will be free as of June 1 to this rich collection of stories and photographs as another gift to the people of Malheur County.
