These are the top 5 best-selling phones in markets all around the world
In addition to the US, the company also shared the information for the UK, China, India, Japan, Germany, France, and South Korea. So, let’s check out what’s going on, starting with the US.
In the case of the US, the first three places are claimed by iPhones. The iPhone 16 Pro Max claimed 11% of sales, as did the iPhone 16. The iPhone 16 Pro is at 8%, while the Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra also sits at 8%, as does the Galaxy A16 5G.

iPhones are leading in the UK
In the UK, the story is somewhat similar, as iPhones claimed the first three spots as well. The iPhone 16 Pro is first, though, followed by the iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The percentages are 12%, 11%, and 10%, respectively. The Galaxy S24 is in fourth place with 6%, while the iPhone 16e is in fifth with 4%.

The competition in China is fierce
When it comes to China, the competition is far more fierce, so the percentages are very close together. There’s no clean leader here. The iPhone 16 Pro Max is first with 4%, followed by the iPhone 16 Pro with 3%, and the Huawei Nova 13 with 3%. The iPhone 16 is in fourth place with 3%, while the OPPO A3x is fifth with 2%.

In India, the Vivo Y29 5G is in first place with 4% of sales, followed by the OPPO A3x and Redmi 14C 5G with 3%. The iPhone 16 and Redmi A3x are in fourth and fifth places with 2% of the market.

One of Google’s Pixels made its way into top 5 phones in Japan
Moving on to Japan. There is a clear leader there, the iPhone 16e, which is quite interesting. That phone took 21% of the market, and is followed by the iPhone 16 with 18%, and the iPhone 15 with 15% of sales. The iPhone 14 is in fourth place with 5%, while the Google Pixel 8a is in fifth place with 5%.

That leads us to Germany. The iPhone 16 Pro Max, iPhone 16 Pro, and iPhone 16 took the first three places with 10%, 10%, and 8% of the market, respectively. They’re followed by the Galaxy S25 Ultra with 7%, and the Galaxy A16 5G with 5%.

French users love compact phones
In France, the Galaxy S25 is in the lead with 13%, followed by the iPhone 16 Pro with 12% of sales. The iPhone 16 is third with 9%, and is followed by the Galaxy S25+ with 7% and the iPhone 16 Pro Max with 7%.

And last, but not least, Korea. The Galaxy S25 Ultra is well above every other phone, with 21% of sales. It is followed by the Galaxy S25 with 15%, and the Galaxy S25+ with 10% of the sales market. The Galaxy A16 4G is fourth with 6%, and is followed by the iPhone 16 Pro Max with 5%.
