Best of Computex 2025: ASUS ExpertBook P3 Series

Military-grade workstation laptops that look very sleek.

ASUS had a major presence at this year’s Computex. The company announced some new gaming laptops and some other devices on top of that. We’ve decided to reserve one of our Best of Computex 2025 awards for the ASUS ExpertBook P3 series that the company announced. In case you’re wondering, the ExpertBook P3 series is ASUS’ new series of AI-based workstation laptops. These devices come in 14-inch and 16-inch variants with the AMD Ryzen AI PRO 7 processors.

The ASUS ExpertBook P3 series offers top-notch performance and battery life

These chips, in case you’re wondering, offer 45W TDP, and deliver up to 66 total system TOPS of AI performance. A high-capacity 70Wh battery is also included on the inside, while ExpertCool thermal technology is here to keep them cool at all times, whether they’re open or closed. Furthermore, ASUS used a full metal chassis in order to make these devices.

You’ll also find all the necessary I/O ports that you need here. You’ll find two USB-A Gen 3.2 ports here, and the same goes for USB-C ports, actually. An audio jack is included as well, as is an HDMI 2.1 port. A Kensington nano security slot is placed here too, as is an RJ45 Ethernet port. Most of those ports are located on the left-hand side, but some can be found on the right side too.

The ASUS ExpertBook P3 series laptops also have a large trackpad for you to use, and a fingerprint scanner too. Windows 11 Pro comes pre-installed on the devices, not to mention that the displays we’ve mentioned in the first paragraph offer 2.5K resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and are also anti-glare displays. The ExpertBook P3 workstations are not exactly fragile either. These laptops are MIL-STD-810H rated, which is a US military standard for durability. That’s always nice to see in laptops, that’s for sure.

You can get up to 64GB of RAM & up to 3TB of dual SSD storage

I’ve already mentioned that the AMD Ryzen AI PRO 7 processors are a part of the package, but what else? Well, these devices are well-equipped performance-wise. They offer up to 64GB of DDR5 dual-channel memory and up to 3TB of dual SSD storage as well. So yes, they should be able to fly through basically anything you throw at them. Multitasking should not be an issue at all.

All in all, the ASUS ExpertBook P3 series has plenty of power to offer. If you’re working for a reliable workstation laptop to be your sidekick, well, this may be a solution for you. We still don’t know the price tags, but get ready to splash out some serious cash, as there’s plenty of power on offer here.
