Apple's latest iPad Pros and iPad Airs expected to debut in May

Rumors keep piling up for oncoming iPad Pros and iPad Airs. The newest one confirms that these devices will debut in early May. Speculations over the next-gen iPad Pro tablets indicate OLED displays, leaked several times on the internet. Additionally, there’s gossip about multiple iPad Airs, which has historically just been limited to one device. It would become a series of two sizes like the iPad Air line.

New iPad Pros and iPad Airs will likely debut in May, as hinted by ramped-up production

It’s been quite a wait for Apple fans as it is now about a year and a half since the last release of iPad Pros. It may be Apple’s biggest-ever break in tablet launches. However, this extra period seems to have given them enough reason to introduce OLED screens, which will make the iPads better than ever before.

A report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman says that the company has scaled up its production before launch suggesting Apple’s bet on these tablets as its savior of sorts. The most recent fiscal reports show a decrease in sales by 25% from Christmas season sales during the last two years.

The upcoming iPad Pros might draw power from an Apple M3 chip. They will also arrive with redesigned Magic Keyboard and Apple Pencil versions. There are even suggestions that it could work with an upgraded Vision Pro headset by adding compatibility with the Apple Pencil. On the other hand, there is news about another size variant of 12.9” for the iPad Air along with the new chip.

Sourcing OLEDs and finalizing software may have delayed the new iPads

Although initially scheduled for release at the end of March, software finalization apparently delayed its launch according to Insider sources. The incorporation of OLEDs may also have contributed to delaying it since their manufacture requires intricate techniques.

As anticipation builds up ahead of the arrival of new models, iPad Pro or iPad Air, fanatics eagerly look forward to their official unveiling, slated for May hoping that they will bring novel features and improvements in the offering.
