Well, those of you in the Adobe ecosystem of products have a powerful image-generation tool of your own. Today, Adobe announced the Firefly Image 3 model, and it boasts some notable improvements over its predecessor.
Adobe has been working on its presence in the AI market. Recently, the company announced some new AI tools coming to Adobe Premier, the company’s video editing platform. These tools include the ability to make artificially generated frames to extend your shots, video generation, Etc. This shows that the company is looking at more ways of refining the creative process.
Also, the company recently launched its Adobe Express app. This gives you access to powerful generative AI tools right on your phone. It’s available now to download for Android and iOS.
Adobe unveils its Firefly Image 3 Model
Right now, pretty much all of the image generators we see on the market are capable of generating some breathtakingly realistic images. Well, Adobe’s Firefly model was a bit behind the race. However, the company unveiled Firefly Image 3, and it brings the company more in line with the competition.
Just like with other image generators, you’re able to turn text prompts into images. You could be as descriptive as you want with the prompts, and the image model will do its best to create images based on what you typed.
However, the functionality doesn’t stop there. You are also able to upload images to have the model generate its own version of them. This is a tool that many of the models have, so it’s great to see it coming to Firefly. One thing that makes this model great is the fact that it supports higher-resolution images, smarter AI, and custom style matching.
