EXCLUSIVE: Moto G96 5G Massive Leak – Images – Specs – Features Unleashed!!

This is the Moto G96 5G, which should debut later this year. This follows our recent leaks of the Moto G 2026, Moto G Power 2026, and the Motorola Edge 70.

The Moto G96 will be available in four colors, all of which use a vegan leather backing, continuing Motorola’s use of unique materials when compared to the rest of the competition.

As far as colors go, we have Cattleya Orchid, which is the sort of lavender color. There are Dresden Blue, Greener Pastures, and Ashleigh Blue color options as well.

Typically the Moto G models with numbers in the name are available in Asia only. So we don’t expect this to come to the US.

Motorola will utilize the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, and 256GB of storage

Internally, the Moto G96 will utilize the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2, which is an interesting tidbit since Qualcomm recently announced the Snapdragon 7s Gen 3. It will also come with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of storage.

Much like the rest of the Moto G smartphones, it also comes with a fairly large battery at 5,500mAh.

On the camera front, Motorola has included a 50-megapixel primary sensor in the Sony LUTIS 700C and an 8-megapixel secondary camera. That secondary camera is indeed a Macro Vision Camera, instead of an ultra wide. Motorola is also including a 32-megapixel front-facing camera.

Motorola will launch the Moto G96 5G with Android 15. It’s also expected to get a few years of updates, though we don’t know the specific number of years. It’s typically three years of updates.

Finally, when it comes to the display, it’ll sport a 6.67-inch pOLED curved display. This is a 10-bit display with Water Touch 2.0 included. It can also refresh at up to 144Hz.

The Moto G96 will also work with Motorola’s Smart Connect, which allows you to connect your new phone to a Lenovo PC to sync notifications, run Android app,s and much more.

This is shaping up to be a pretty impressive budget device, which we expect to cost around ₹22,990.00 which would translate to about $270 USD. Which was the price of the Moto G95 that launched last year.
