The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro tablet has been announced. This tablet has been announced in China, but there’s a chance it will make its way to global markets too. It actually has similar specifications to the OPPO Pad 4 Pro from last year.
The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro is the company’s new flagship tablet
This tablet, as you can see, has rather thin bezels around the display, especially for a tablet. A single camera is located in the top-left corner of its back, while the frame around the device is flat.
This tablet features a 13.2-inch 3.4K (3392 x 2400) display with a 144Hz (variable) refresh rate. Dolby Vision is supported here, while its brightness gets up to 900 nits. A 540Hz touch sampling rate is also included.
The Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC fuels this tablet, the most powerful chip Qualcomm has to offer. OnePlus paired that with 8GB, 12GB or 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, depending on which model you choose. 256GB and 512GB UFS 4.0 flash storage options are at your disposal.
Android 15 comes out of the box with ColorOS 15
Android 15 comes pre-installed on the device, with ColorOS 15. A 12,140mAh battery is also a part of the package, and it supports 67W SuperVOOC fast wired charging.
A single 13-megapixel camera sits on the back, along with an LED flash. On the front, you’ll find an 8-megapixel selfie snapper. This device has 8 speakers and Hi-Res audio certification.
Wi-Fi 7 is on board, as is Bluetooth 5.4. The same goes for USB 3.2 Gen 1 and NFC. The device measures 289.61 x 209.66 x 5.97mm, while it weighs 675 grams.
There are plenty of options to choose from
The OnePlus Pad 2 Pro comes in Deep Sea Blue and Glacier Silver colors. The device’s pricing starts at CNY3,199 ($443) for the 8GB RAM variant with 256GB of storage. Four different models are available, and the most expensive one costs CNY3,999 ($554), which is for a 16GB RAM model with 512GB of storage.
Do note that the prices will be higher if this tablet makes its way to global markets. OnePlus also announced a Smart Touch Keyboard, OnePlus Smart Sylus Pro, and a Protective case for this tablet.
