On 12 September 2023, World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) officially merged with Ultimate Fighting Championship’s (UFC) parent Zuffa to form TKO Group Holdings (TKO).
WWE 2K24, undoubtedly the most awaited of all video games in March 2024, is the first title in the long-running franchise since the creation of the new company on whose board sits Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson. As the name suggests, it is the 24th entry in the franchise. It also marks the 10th instalment under the WWE 2K brand name.
WWE superstar Cody Rhodes appears on the Standard Edition cover while Rhea Ripley and Bianca Belair are featured on the Deluxe Edition. New experiences for players include Guest Referee, Casket, Gauntlet and Ambulance matches. Players can also build their own faction, using current superstars and former wrestlers.
The game will also have a special 40 Years of WrestleMania Edition in which players will be able to relive iconic matches featuring legends such as ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage, Hulk Hogan, Andre the Giant, Shawn Michaels, The Undertaker, Bret Hart and Razor Ramon.
