Vivo India teases the launch of its next V-series smartphone – Times of India

Chinese handset maker Vivo has teased the launch of its upcoming smartphone — Vivo V19 — in India. Vivo has updated its Twitter account page with an image that shows the upcoming handset from both front and back. Although there is no launch date as of now, the image simply says “coming soon.”

From the image, it can be seen that the Vivo V19 sports an L-shaped rear camera setup in a rectangular encasement on the top left corner. On the front, the Vivo V19 has a dual punch hole camera setup on the top right corner and an in-display fingerprint sensor at the bottom. The handset appears to be made available in two colour options of Black and gradient White-Blue.

The specs of the upcoming Vivo V19 have been reported recently online. As per online reports, the Vivo V19 sports a 6.44-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED display and offers an aspect ratio of 20:9. Said to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 712 SoC, the device is expected to offer an 8GB RAM paired with 128GB and 256GB internal storage options.

The quad-camera setup on the back is rumoured to house a 48MP primary camera, an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, a 2MP macro camera and a 2MP depth sensor. On the front, the dual punch-hole camera setup is said to be a 32MP main sensor coupled with 8MP wide-angle-camera. Said to be backed by a 4500mAh battery, Vivo V19 is likely to offer 33W Vivo Flash Charge 2.0.

Earlier this month, Vivo launched a new variant of the
Vivo Y91i with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage. Priced at Rs 7,990, the Vivo Y91i has been made available for offline markets. In terms of specs, the device offers a 6.22-inch HD+ display, an octa-core MediaTek processor and a 4030mAh battery. The dual-SIM smartphone comes with a 13MP single-lens rear camera. On the front, users get an 8MP selfie shooter.
