best Sprint deals
The smallest of the Big Four carriers in the US, Sprint is hoping for a successful merger with T-Mobile. Until that happens, there are various Sprint deals the company puts out in hopes of getting new subscribers on board and narrowing the gap with Verizon, AT&T, and T-Mobile. Here are the best ones you should know about.

Best Sprint deals:

Editor’s note: We will be updating this list of the best Sprint offers regularly as new deals are announced.

1. Let Sprint cover your switching costs

Stuck with another carrier? Sprint makes switching more cost-effective by covering your moving costs through their Clean Slate program. The carrier will reimburse up to $650 per line. Only early termination fees and phone balances are eligible for reimbursement, but that’s plenty of help.

All you have to do is switch your number to Sprint’s network and trade in your previous phone. After your previous carrier’s final bill arrives, just register online within 60 days of joining Sprint. After that, Sprint will send you a prepaid card with the amount of your switching costs, less the trade-in value of your old phone. The process should take anywhere between six to eight weeks.

2. Get three lines for free with Unlimited Basic

The best Sprint deals on offer

Sign up for Sprint’s Unlimited Basic plan and you’ll get three lines for free. This Sprint deal only works if you need five lines, though. Only the third, fourth, and fifth lines will be free, effectively bringing the price down to $20 per line for five lines.

There is a catch: You’ll only pay $100 for five lines until June 30, 2020. After this date, subscribers will need to pay an additional $20 per line for the third, fourth, and fifth lines.

Unlimited Basic offers unlimited talk, text, and 4G LTE data, 500MB of LTE mobile hotspot, 480p video streaming, and a Hulu subscription. The plan also includes unlimited talk and text, along with 5GB of LTE data while roaming in Canada and Mexico.

3. Unlimited Kickstart: $35 per month

Sprint Kickstart plan deal

This Sprint deal makes it easier to switch to the carrier by offering one of the most affordable unlimited plans around. The Unlimited Kickstart plan costs only $35 a month, but it comes with its caveats.

For starters, the plan requires bringing your own phone or buying one outright. If you go for the latter option, you might be eligible for a $100 prepaid MasterCard. You will also need to sign up for AutoPay.

Unlimited calls, texts, and data are included, but you get fewer extras. For example, the 500MB of mobile hotspot and free Hulu subscription included in Unlimited Basic are not included in Unlimited Kickstart. Video streaming is limited to 480p resolution, while music streaming is limited to 500kbps speeds.

However, you can’t beat the $35 price if you just want a basic plan. Each additional line is an additional $35 per month.

4. Lease the Samsung Galaxy S20 with trade-in for free!

There are some good deals on Sprint for the S20 range, which are based on two factors: That you pick up any of the S20 phones on a Flex Lease plan, and you have an eligible device to trade-in. If you’re happy with those terms, you can get yourself a Galaxy S20 for free! It’s usually $41,67 per month even on the Flex Lease, so it’s a top deal.

There are equally impressive savings on this Flex Lease and trade-in combination for the Galaxy S20 Plus and Galaxy S20 Ultra. You can be paying as little as  $8.33 per month (usually $49.99) for the S20 Plus or $16.67 per month (usually $58.34) for the S20 Ultra.

It’s not easy to summarize which devices are eligible for trade-in because it depends on carrier and brand. For reference, they tend to go as far back as the Samsung Galaxy S8 or the iPhone 6s. Head over to your Sprint deal of choice and click through the purchase process to see whether your device fits the bill.

Even though this is Android Authority, we can’t pass up a deal at the price of free. You can pick up the 64GB version of the Apple iPhone 11 in any of six colors for $0 per month with a new Sprint Flex Lease. You can save the full $29.17 per month in the form of bill credits that start within three payments.

Right now, if you add a line with a qualifying trade-in, you can pick up the 512GB version of the iPhone XS Max for just $12.50 per month. All you have to do is add a new line to your plan and trade in a qualifying device that you mail to Sprint. You can save over $29 off the regular monthly cost in the form of bill payments that kick in within three payments.

If you choose to cancel the lease early, the rest of the payments are due. However, if you complete the lease you can choose to then upgrade or buy the device in the form of six more monthly payments.

7. Lease the Samsung Galaxy A50 for free

Just like the other Flex Leases, the discounts are applied as bill credits within a few months of starting. If you end your lease early the remaining payments are due.

8. LG V50 for $0 a month with a new line

LG V50 ThinQ Sprint deal

The LG V50 ThinQ is Sprint’s first 5G phone, which means it can offer amazing data speeds if you are lucky enough to be in one of the carrier’s 5G markets. It’s an expensive device at $999.99, but you can get it for $0 a month on an 18-month lease. That is a pretty good discount considering the regular price is $41.67 a month.

9. Lease the LG G8X for $15 a month and get a $200 Mastercard

If you haven’t been wowed by any of the deals so far, maybe you just haven’t found the right phone. You can also check out the LG G8X for just $15 per month with a Flex Lease. However, the deal gets even sweeter than just the flex lease savings.

You can also get a $200 Mastercard with your lease that can be used anywhere you like. A new LG G8X lease also includes a free LG Dual Screen to transform your G8X into a folding phone. So really, you’re getting two phones for the price of way less than one.

10. Pay $25 today and lease the Samsung Galaxy A10e for $5 per month

The last deal on the list is a great way to save on the Samsung Galaxy A10e. You can pay just $25 today and $5 per month on a new Flex Lease. The total cost for the lease will be just $115, saving you $85. As with all Flex Leases, you’ll start seeing the $6.96 per month savings after just a few cycles.

These are the best Sprint deals currently on offer in our opinion, but there are a few others available as well. We’ll update this post with new ones once they launch.
