Team Liquid has announced a strategic data partnership with market intelligence company Newzoo. The company will provide Team Liquid with insights on the industry while the esports organization will, in turn, provide input on Newzoo’s research that will assist it in strengthening its market estimates.

“This partnership with Newzoo adds their market intelligence and expertise to our collective knowledge-base and experience,” said Team Liquid co-CEO Victor Goossens in a release. “In the same way that we take pride in giving our players the platform they need to win, our goal here is to provide our staff with the tools and insight necessary to make smarter decisions, which ultimately leads to continued success.”

Last year, Team Liquid signed its first data partnership with SAP. Rather than market research, that partnership is focused on competitive data for the organization’s Dota 2 team.
