T-Mobile Motorola razr 5G

T-Mobile, America’s Uncarrier, is introducing the Motorola razr 5G on October 2 with a tempting offers that could see customers receiving a 50% discount on the device.

The Motorola razr 5G is an interesting device, combining iconic looks and design with modern Android smartphone software and hardware. The device is based around the mid-range Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G System-on-Chip backed up by 8GB of RAM, and uses a 6.2-inch foldable pOLED panel with a resolution of 2142×876 pixels. There’s a secondary display for use when the device is folded, a 48MP main camera, a 2800mAh battery complete with fast charging. As you would expect from the name, the razr 5G is compatible with T-Mobile’s high performance 5G network. The device has tended to polarize opinion as some potential customers love the idea of a foldable Android smartphone with a very much classic design, and other potential customers do not. The razr 5G will be available from T-Mobile in two colors – Polished Graphite and Blush Gold.

The razr 5G’s foldable display and clever design does come at a price, however – $1399.99 plus tax, so T-Mobile’s 50% discount sounds tempting. Who doesn’t want to save $700 on a new phone? Customers need to meet certain criteria to qualify for the discount, which includes joining T-Mobile with an eligible equipment installation plan and trading in a recent high-end smartphone from one of the main manufacturers, including Apple, Samsung, Google, OnePlus and LG. The $700 is applied via a bill credit, which can take two months to arrive.

I’ve been using smartphones since before they were popular! I found my home with Android back in 2011. Today, I use the Google Pixel 3a and Sony Xperia Z4 Tablet as primary devices, but you’ll also see me with my coffee cup.
