A man was wounded Sunday afternoon when a gunshot flew into his car and hit him, officials said.
The man told officers he was sitting in his car in the 900 block of Margaret Place about 3:30 p.m. when he heard gunfire, according to Atlanta police.
At some point, the man was hit in the abdomen by the gunfire, investigators said. The wounded man drove himself to Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway and called police.
The man told police he didn’t see where the shots came from. He was taken to Grady Memorial Hospital, where he is stable.
An investigation is ongoing.
