A gaming franchise that is particularly suited to the endless running format is Crash Bandicoot and fans of the genre will be happy to learn that Crash is making his way to both Android and iOS during 2020. Crash Bandicoot: On the Run! as the game is called, is in development and you can already pre-register your interest in the title on the Play Store.
The new game involves Crash taking on arch-nemesis, Neo Cortex, to thwart his attempt to conquer the multiverse. Surprisingly, On the Run! isn’t a pure endless running game because you can apparently craft weapons for Crash to use along the way, according to he trailer embedded above. You’ll also be able to play together with friends on asynchronous multiplayer missions.
“We’re really excited to bring this well-known and much-loved franchise back to mobile,” said King vice president of game design Stephen Jarrett“
Crash Bandicoot: On the Run is being developed by Candy Crush creators, King, which means you can expect a ton of In-App-Purchases to be present when it does eventually launch. You can pre-register your interest by clicking on the Play Store Link below.
