A Perth teenager who advertised her end-of-school-year party on Facebook says she never meant for the event to get out of hand.
Two rival gangs from Ellenbrook and Mirrabooka crashed the party in Henley Brook on Friday night with neighbours reporting seeing teens fighting in the streets.
“I spoke to other neighbours… it was pretty rough last night,” Mary-Anne Versace said.
“There were fights out on the street and stuff like that, they were getting really scared.”
The 17-year-old party host told 7 News she advertised her party on social networking site Facebook but only invited 80 people.
The girl’s mother was home at the Baskir Way property at the time of the party, but more than 100 teens quickly showed up.
“I was informed that kids had come all the way from Rivervale, so year good old Facebook,” Ms Versace said.
The trouble teens were later seen at the nearby Hungry Jacks with one 16-year-old arrested and charged with disorderly conduct.
Other teenagers were handed move on notices.
