The OnePlus 7 is shaping up to be a pretty attractive option for smartphone buyers this year, and Pete Lau is doing an excellent job at keeping the hype up for his company’s latest phone.

An earlier rumor was circling that the OnePlus 7 might launch with significantly faster UFS 3.0 storage, beating the Galaxy Fold to the punch. Pete Lau has just confirmed that on Twitter, too.

And, to clarify, Lau did say the “OnePlus 7 Series” will include the faster storage, which makes it sound like we’ll see this on both the OnePlus 7 and OnePlus 7 Pro. You’ll be getting that next level fast and smooth experience regardless of which variant you buy.

This thing may not fold, but OnePlus is picking off all the right Samsung features to get us excited. It might not have a notch, the storage will be blazing fast, the screen will supposedly be one of the best in the industry, and it’ll manage to come in (slightly) cheaper than some of the competition. Should be a pretty nice phone.
