The Redlands Historical Museum Association is seeking donations of new and gently used items for a “MOR-a-Palooza” sale to be held in August.

The sale will be held at the former Redlands Daily Facts building, 700 Brookside Ave., which is to be renovated to house the Museum of Redlands (MOR).

Proceeds from the sale will go toward the capital campaign to fund the building renovation, according to a news release.

Donations for the sale may include collectibles, antiques, paintings, furniture, books, tools, kitchen items and sporting goods. Clothing will be accepted if it is new, with tags attached.

Donations may be dropped off between 9 a.m. and noon July 25 and Aug. 1 at the Museum of Redlands building, 700 Brookside Ave.

The sale will be 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 8, and 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 9.

People dropping off donations or attending the sale will be required to wear face masks, and social distancing and other precautions will be enforced to protect volunteers and participants, according to the news release.

Any items left after the sale will be donated to a local nonprofit organization.
