NEW DELHI: Vivo’s sub-brand iQoo has launched its latest smartphone in China. Dubbed iQoo U1x, the smartphone is said to be the cheaper version of the recently launched U1 smartphone.
The iQoo U1x comes with a starting price tag of 899 yuan (Rs 9,930). The handset can be purchased in two colour options — Secret Black and Morning Frost. The iQoo U1x is backed by a 5000mAh battery and is powered by an octa-core processor.

The iQoo U1x sports a 6.51-inch HD+ display with 720×1600 pixel resolution. The smartphone is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 662 processor paired with 4GB/6GB of RAM.
The smartphone comes in two storage options — 64GB and 128GB. Users can add more storage to the handset by inserting a microSD card. The iQoo U1x runs Android 10 operating system topped with the company’s own iQoo UI 1.0.
The dual SIM smartphone comes equipped with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. It features a triple-rear camera setup which comprises a 13MP main sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 2MP depth sensor with f/2.4 aperture and 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. The smartphone houses an 8MP front camera with f/1.8 aperture for selfies.
Recently, iQoo launched its first smartphone with 120W fast charging support — iQoo 5 Pro.
The company claims that the phone’s 4,000 mAh battery can charge from 0 to 100% in just 15 minutes. The handset is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor paired with 6GB/8GB/12GB of RAM.
