Scott “SirScoots” Smith and Jason Baker, a pair of longtime esports content producers, have announced the formation of their new Do Not Peek Entertainment production company.
Do Not Peek Entertainment—established in partnership with esports holding company GG Group—will produce its own original content, as well as work with tournament and league organizers, esports teams, and content creators.
The team is based in Scottsdale, Arizona, at the 15,000-square-foot production facilities of SNEAKY BIG, a production company established in 2016 by GoDaddy founder and businessman, Bob Parsons. SNEAKY BIG has worked with such clients as CNN, ESPN, Sony PlayStation, and Turner Sports.
“Selecting SNEAKY BIG as our production partner was the obvious choice for us,” said Baker, co-founder and managing director of Do Not Peek Entertainment, in a release. “It’s a world-class facility with top of the line technical capabilities. Just a short flight out of LA, SNEAKY BIG provides ease of access to West Coast talent but without the premium cost.”
Baker helped launch both ELEAGUE and Activision Blizzard’s Overwatch League, and also previously worked with companies such as Major League Gaming and ESL. Smith, also managing director and co-founder of the new studio, has been a host and producer across the industry, as well as a founder of GotFrag TV and the chief operating officer of team Evil Geniuses.
