With a robust battery, stunning display, remarkable cameras, smooth software, and lightweight device
The Galaxy M21, which succeeds last year’s Galaxy M20, packs a gorgeous 6.4-inch FHD+ Super AMOLED Infinity U display, a triple-lens rear camera setup, and an enormous 6,000mAh battery unit.
Along with these highlights, the M21 also packs Samsung’s 10nm octa-core Exynos 9611 SoC and runs One UI 2.0 based on Android 10. It also comes with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB internal storage, says a press release.
The 6,000mAh powerhouse pushes through one day of usage easily and nears on completing two days before it needs to be juiced up. Galaxy M21 will not disappoint you if you pull a long haul on a game that isn’t super demanding in the graphics department. For example, if you play Clash Royale or Battlelands Royale for an hour and a half at a stretch, you will only be losing roughly 10% of the juice with even with the display at its maximum brightness.
Colors on the 6.4-inch panel are crispy, and in case you are a fan of boosted tones, Samsung lets you pick your liking in the Settings menu. When left at ‘Natural’, the tones are fairly accurate as well, which isn’t something very common on budget AMOLED panels.
Smooth Software Experience
An area where Samsung has made tremendous strides over the past couple of years is with its revamped skin that we know as One UI 2.0. The brand’s custom interface is easier on the eye than its predecessors with smoother navigation, and it’s the budget smartphones where this shift has made the most significant impact. One UI 2.0 runs like a charm here, and unlike some other competitors, you will not be bombarded with ads within the UI.
Lightweight and grippy
Considering Galaxy M21 packs a beefy 6,000mAh battery, the device feels fairly light and sturdy. The back edges of the phone are also curved well enough to ensure that the device does not feel unwieldy to smaller hands.
Galaxy M21 comes equipped with a triple rear camera setup that comprises a 48MP primary lens, an 8MP Ultra-Wide lens with a 123-degree field of view, and a 5MP depth lens. The cameras are capable of capturing extremely detailed pictures regardless of the lighting conditions. The device sports equally impressive 20MP front camera that captured detailed selfies and is excellent for video calling. To elevate your selfie game, the front camera also comes preloaded with filters and several camera modes. On top of it, the device can also record Ultra HD 4K videos, which is remarkable for budget-friendly smartphones.
