Apple has been coming up with new features for its users from time to time. Among its many features, one secret feature which is not known to many is magnifying glass feature and it uses the iPhone’s camera to zoom in on texts. The feature turns your camera into a magnifying glass and is useful for users with vision impairment.

Thus, if you have low-visibility problems or if you cannot read things clearly or finding it difficult to read, you can switch on to the magnifying glass feature and zoom in on the objects near you. Apple built the Magnifier feature into its iOS accessibility options.

Apart from magnifying, the feature also has other benefits as well. You can also apply colour filters or save magnifying objects as images.

You can also add a flashlight to the object which you are trying to magnify and read or understand. If you are using iPhone X, iPhone XS, iPhone XS Plus or iPhone XR, you just need to triple tap the side button to use this feature. Else, if you are using older versions, you can tap on the home button thrice and use it.

You can also zoom in and zoom out of texts by adjusting the sliders. You can also tap on the screen to focus and can lock the focus as well. Applying filters can help you use the feature better and you can save the image by clicking on the centre button. Listed below are the steps to use your iPhone camera as a magnifying glass.
