Smartphone maker Gionee has launched yet another entry level smartphone in India. The company has launched the Gionee F8 Neo smartphone in the country. The handset is powered by an octa-core processor and is backed by a 3000 mAh battery.
Price and availability
The company has priced the Gionee F8 Neo at Rs 5,499 and the smartphone can be purchased in Blue, Black and Red colour options. The device is available across authorised retail stores in the country. With this price tag the smartphone will compete against the cheapest Samsung smartphone — Galaxy M01 Core.
Gionee F8 Neo specifications
The Gionee F8 Neo comes with a 5.45-inch LCD display which comes with an eye comfort feature. This display feature makes it easier for the user to read and look at the screen in dim light. The handset is powered by an octa-core processor paired with 2GB RAM.
Gionee F8 Neo packs 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB by adding a microSD card. The device runs Android operating system and comes with dual SIM support.
The device sports a single lens 8MP rear camera and a 5MP front shooter for selfies. The device is backed by a 3000 mAh battery with support for 10W charging.
Recently, Gionee launched its entry level smartphone — Gionee Max in India. Priced at Rs 5,999, the smartphone is backed by a 5,000 mAh battery. It is powered by a 1.6GHz octa-core Unisoc SC9863A processor with IMG8322 GPU. Gionee Max packs 2GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be expanded up to 256GB by adding a microSD card. The smartphone runs Android 10 operating system and offers dual SIM support.
