The first-generation Moto Razr foldable may not have been the hit out of the park that Motorola would have liked, but the follow-up has shown that the smartphone company is capable of learning from its mistakes. The Moto Razr 5G features better quality building materials, an improved processor with more capable cameras, and includes 5G connectivity.
Packing the same 6.2-inch (876 x 2142 resolution) and 2.7-inch (600 x 800 resolution) pOLED displays as the 2019 model, the new Motorola Razr 5G gets a performance boost thanks to the addition of the very popular Snapdragon 765G processor. There’s also 8GB of RAM present along with 256GB of storage, and the clamshell also launches running Android 10 out of the box. Thanks to the SD765G chipset, the Motorola also gains 5G connectivity.
The battery sees a slight increase in capacity from 2,510mAh to 2,800mAh, with the same 15W charging speed. The Motorola Razr 5G also gets a photography boost with the main camera getting an upgrade from 16MP to 48MP (with OIS) and the selfie camera’s from 5MP sensor being switched out for a 20MP unit.
When launched, the Moto Razr 5G was priced at $1,399 but you can now save a massive $400 by buying the phone either directly from Motorola or from Best Buy.
